On December 18th 2002 I received the most amazing gift that anyone could ever receive! After being on dialysis for 6 years I received a kidney transplant, which changed my life forever.

There are no words to express the gratitude that I have for my donor family; such a selfless act of kindness to choose to allow their loved one to be an organ donor. So, from our family to all of the donor families thank you for giving the gift of life to others. Organ donation within our family does not stop with me. My wife is a registered donor, my mother who passed away in 2014 was a tissue donor, and my wife’s niece who also passed away in 2014, her mother allowed her organs to be donated.
