Logan- Double Kidney Recipient

Logan was born with a partial deletion of chromosome # 7.  At age three he had to have one of his kidneys removed due to unforeseen complications as a result of his condition.  In 2007 Logan’s mother, Penny (pictured on left) was able to give him his first kidney. For a long while this kidney was fully functional and working great, however in 2011 Logan had a stroke that put a strain on his entire body, and his kidney began to fail.  By some miracle, Logan’s Aunt Donna (pictured right) was also a match and was able to give Logan one of her kidneys in July of 2013.  Today, everyone is happy, healthy, and doing great!  It is clear that generosity runs in this family, and Logan is completely grateful!
