I’m a 34 year old mom of 4. I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome after I had my youngest child. I have had many sprained ankles throughout life and my ankle was not able to be stable after my last injury. My options were total fusion at 34 of my ankle or a tendon transplant/tendon & ligament tightening.

I’m thankful for the tendon transplant and the donor who made it possible. I also pray for comfort for their family. This beautiful gift will allow me to be active with my kids. I’ve been a blood donor since I was 17 and I’m a registered organ donor. To give someone such a loving gift is so beautiful to me. I’ll forever be thankful for my donor.
