Ashley Heath Riggs – Tissue Donor

Ashley was a very outgoing, loving son.  He was like a magnet:  people were drawn to him.  He never met a stranger.  He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed.  We were not surprised that he had joined the KY Organ Donor Registry; we knew he would want to help someone if he could.

Ashley was able to be a tissue donor, and we have received two letters from his recipients so far.

We are still on our journey in our healing … It has been a comfort knowing that Ashley’s legacy lives on.  Organ and tissue donation SAVES LIVES.
