Donor Family Resources

KODA Aftercare Program

The death of a loved one is a difficult experience, and grief may cause a variety of feelings that seem overwhelming.  KODA is dedicated to donor families and honors the gift of donation through the Aftercare Program. Aftercare is a continuation of grief support and resources offered to donor families at the time of donation.

The 15 month program offers supportive resources and communication with KODA’s compassionate Aftercare staff.  Their concern for each family ensures that no one should grieve alone.  The Aftercare Team is committed to walking beside those who grieve and is available to donor families for support indefinitely.

If you would like to learn more about the Aftercare Program, have questions about corresponding with recipients, wish to volunteer or connect directly with other donor families who have gone through a similar loss, our staff is honored to help. Please contact us:  donorfamilies@kodaorgan.org
