Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center Honors Donate Life Mission

PRESTONSBURG, KY. June 4, 2020.  On Monday, June 1, 2020, Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center raised the Donate Life flag in remembrance of all organ, tissue, and cornea donors. In partnership with the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA), ARH’s Community Chief Executive Officer, Tim A. Calloway County Circuit Clerk receives a Platinum Level Award from Donate Life Kentucky

Calloway County Circuit Court Clerk, Tom Grantz, has been honored for his volunteer efforts in promoting the mission of helping others through organ and tissue donation. Grantz was among fifteen Donate Life Ambassadors honored at a special dinner. The Platinum Award signifies the number of hours a volunteer has spent spreading the mission. Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates Surpasses a Record Number of Organ Donor Registrants in 2019

The power of YES has resulted in 2019 being a record-breaking year for saving lives around Kentucky.  Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA), the organ procurement organization for most of Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Huntington, WV, was able to support the decisions for donation and transplantation of 137 organ donors resulting in 416 organs being transplanted.  This was the highest number of organ donors ever for KODA. KODA has launched its 2019 limited-time raffle tickets for Collectible 1983 O.F.C. Bourbon Bottle

Only first 200 contributors to be entered in the raffle Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) has launched it’s raffling off a bottle of bourbon sourced from Buffalo Trace’s six millionth barrel as a charitable giveaway.  Each ticket is a $100 contribution and a chance to own a piece of bourbon history and help save lives.
